Phase Overview

This training phase aims to teach protocols for successfully closing out the school year. It focuses on supporting clinical supervisees in completing end-of-year transitions for clients and completing the necessary documentation for closing out supervisory relationships for the year. Effective communication strategies and detailed reporting will also be covered to ensure a smooth and thorough conclusion of the academic cycle. Participants will also learn how to assess any outstanding issues to ensure a seamless transition for both clients and staff.

  2. Maintain responsibilities in supporting development of Schools as Centers of Wellness

  3. Conduct End-of-Year Check-in

  4. Continue supporting school teams through end of school year

STEP 1

Role Development

Exhibit full understanding of the Coordinator's role in transforming schools into Centers of Wellness and serving schools as clients.

    • Continue to navigate Coordinator role and incorporate DEIB framework into practices and professional engagements

    • Continue to navigate through feelings of discomfort through introspection while upholding TSEL practices

    • Attend and collaborate in regional team meetings, program team meetings, professional development and trainings, and events within region

STEP 2

Supporting School Sites as Clients

Collaborate with Clinicians to review and advance action plans aimed at enhancing accountability, strengthening care team collaboration, and supporting schools as clients. Continuously monitor action plan progress to ensure ongoing improvements and alignment with program goals.

    • In collaboration with Clinicians, review progress of action plan(s) to:

      • Strengthen accountability in efforts to achieve core components

      • Strengthen collaboration of care team

      • Support school as client

    • Attend district and school site events for assigned schools

    • Schedule and visit each assigned school site monthly, including other team members (Family navigators, Clinicians, Clinician II, and Career Pipeline)

    • Explore existing and potential collaborations with community partners

STEP 3

Clinician Oversight

Maintain a supportive supervisory relationship with Clinicians, facilitating their participation in all required training and development opportunities while ensuring adherence to program standards.

    • Schedule and facilitate monthly 1:1s with assigned Clinicians

    • Discuss time off for the summer months with Clinicians

STEP 4

End of Year Check-in

Conduct an end of year check-in with administrators at each assigned school site to evaluate integration elements and the general success of program implementation for the year.

    • Conduct end-of-year check-in with school site administration to review integration progress of:

      • Multidisciplinary systems

      • COST structure

      • ABC report data

      • Universal referral process

      • Billable encounters

      • Clinical supervision model and Associate requirements

      • Case closure process
